In almost 12 months several activities were promoted, some with a lot of success, in others not so much. But that is the way life is. You cannot win all and remains the hope that the mistakes make experience and contribute to improve the future of the institutions.

In the case of ASDIBRA, I believe that one of the most important conclusions that we could reach is that we have to seek, and find, the formula to maintain an organization that means the expense of little time to its Board and no greater economic investments of its associates.

Therefore, we intend to end this year with three more activities: a boat trip, in the beginning of the October next, a soccer tournament in the end of this same month of October and a Great Latin Party, in the middles of the month of November.

The central point of this calendar is the elections of the new Board of Directors, to take place in November.

We hope that the elections of our new Board of Directors rises the interest among the diplomats of participating on our organization and, especially, becoming member of the Board, which will have ASDIBRA on their hands until the middle of 2006.

After one year of the elections of this Board of Directors I would like to thank, on behalf of each one of its members, all the diplomats in Brasília who were present in our activities and who have granted us with ideas and projects for the future.

I also wish to thank the participation of THE GUIDE, company which has given the Association a decisive support in the organization of our different activities.

As for the honor of being the President of such an organization as ASDIBRA I want to state to each one my sentiments of gratitude and, especially, of friendship, which trespasses borders, spaces and time, maintaining unaltered here in this great nation of Brazil and any other where we can meet.
