The Embassy of Russia was the great champion of the 1 st THE GUIDE Volleyball Tournament 2007, after disputing a balanced match on the final against the team of the Embassy of Venezuela, which got the trophy for the second best team of the tournament. The embassy of Nigeria got the third place, which had the participation of the Ambassador Kayode Garrick among its athletes.

On September 10th of 2005, the Association of Diplomats – ASDIBRA offered a co fraternization party at the restaurant “Cabana da Árvore”. Members of the Embassies from all continents were present in an evening taken by the exciting Latin rhythms and the best flashbacks of the 60s, the 70s, 80s and the 90s.
