THE GUIDE celebrates AGREEMENT with the Associação Comercial do Distrito Federal (Commercial Association of the Federal District – ACDF)

Aiming to increase information on companies and service providers in Brasilia for the diplomatic corps, THE GUIDE celebrated on March 3rd 2010 a commercial agreement with the Associação Comercial do Distrito Federal (Trade Association of the Federal District – ACDF).

The document was signed by the President of the Commercial Association, Mrs. Danielle Moreira and by the President of THE GUIDE, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira and will initially be valid for two years.

With the establishment of the Agreement, THE GUIDE initiated a program of visits in companies established in Brasilia. "With the support of the Commercial Association we will include hundreds of companies in the portal so the embassies and international organizations will have better access to do business with ACDF associates," said Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, President of THE GUIDE. The community of foreigners from the diplomatic corps in Brasilia has more than 2,000 people.

For Mrs. Danielle Moreira, President of the Commercial Association - ACDF, the agreement with THE GUIDE increase interaction between companies and foreign residents in Brasilia. "We know the work of THE GUIDE to the diplomatic community and we thought it important that companies from Brasília may also be known by those who live here and do not speak Portuguese, as many foreigners from the embassies and international organizations," she said.

Among the activities of the portal THE GUIDE are broadcasting of cultural events in the English language, the coverage of diplomatic events and also the disclosure of private companies from various branches of activity. Another activity of THE GUIDE is The organization of events aimed to promote the fraternization among the various foreign embassies based in Brasilia.
