Dear friends from the Diplomatic Corps,

The year 2011 came to the end and the time is to prepare projects that should make 2012 a better year for everyone.

For THE GUIDE, 2012 will be a year of great achievements, which will include:

- The change of the layout and the programming language of the portal, increasing the supply of information for embassies and international organizations and quickly updating of our cultural and social events sections;

- The promotion of many events for greater integration between the families of the members of the Diplomatic Corps;

- The inclusion of more information about the countries represented in Brasilia on our website www.paisesdomundo.com.br, which comes every week registering access from dozens of Brazilian cities;

- The beginning of the inclusion of information about the Brazilian cities in our link Get to Know Brazil, and also the opening of representations of THE GUIDE in many states of Brazil.

Also, 2012 is the year that we will offer accounting services - in English - to embassies through an accountant partner of our company. We believe this will help to solve the common problems that many embassies have to understand Brazil’s accounting system.

Finally, I will offer my services for legal advice in the area of labor law to the embassies who want legal certainty for proper hiring and termination of labor contracts with Brazilian employees.
