The Nida Chalegre Decoration School is located in the neighborhood area of the Lago Sul in Brasilia and it offers internal design courses, furniture design, information technology in decoration, decorating colors, landscape and so on. The school academic modules are offered every other day in order to not affect the modern woman commitments.

The decoration school Nida Chalegre originated form the methodology developed by Eronides Chalegre, Nida’s mother and founder of the Decorative Arts Institute. It was created in Porto Alegre city, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, the Decoration Arts Institute is also specialized in the teaching of several other decoration aspects with a great deal of manual work, shop windows, social etiquette which was administered at the time by a “gaucha” columnist Celia Ribeiro. The school was responsible by the formation of decorators and shop windows people from the south of the country for two decades.

Interior Design Course
The Interior Design Technical Course of Nida Chalegre’s methodology is composed of a minimum of 800 hours (credits/formation) covering the following modules:
Introduction Module to Interior Design;
Advanced Module to Interior Design (Architectural Drawing and furniture drawing);

The Nida Chalegre’s Decoration School periodically offers shot term intensive courses, most the time during vacation in July, January and February for the development and formation in architecture and design field. It usually takes place daily in a 3 weeks period.

Sales Techniques Course in Decoration
The Nida Chalegre’s Decoration School, is a development and formation center of professionals in decoration field and it develops programs “in company” of the interior design basic course, that’s to say suitable programs for the satisfaction of the specific necessities of the students or hirer company.
Having in mind the ever increasing development of commerce and the continuation of the interior design and the implant of shopping and specialized shops, it is necessary administer a special training in order to directly serve the consumer of this area. This way it was developed by Nida Chalegre the course “Sales Techniques in Decoration” directed to sales. Consultants who deal with products such as furniture, fabrics, covering material, decorative material, etc. Joining sales techniques and knowledge about the environment planning. This way the shopkeeper will be offering a differential service to his customers through a better performance of his professionals.
The course is administered in 10 days with 3 hours class each, making 30 hours/class in 2 weeks distributed in 5 days with elements about interior planning and 5 days about sales techniques applied to decoration.
At the programmes application it is used the best teaching methodology, making use of exercises mainly developed for the adopted methodology together with audio-visual equipment.
CERTIFICATES: Partial certificates will be supplied for each module accomplished, for the students who had obtained, at least 80% of presence and a satisfactory utilization evaluation.
