Meet the Oenologist

Beginner’s Course

Approaching the wine since its origins, this course explains which factors are determinant for the wine quality, conservation techniques, how to taste and appreciate the product better, harmonization between wine and dishes tips.  The students learn in a very informal way, from opening the bottle and serving it, to the world vinicultural geography.

Duration of 1 month (1 class per week)
Degustation of 8 wines during the course.

Advanced Course

The advanced course is turned to the students who already have basic knowledge about wine and are familiarized with the basic tasting techniques. The focus of this course is on the grapes used to make a wine and the different styles of wine that can come out of it.  There is an approach on the basic notions of winemaking in white, red, rosé, sparkling and liquorish wines, ending with the aging wine system. In this module, more than 10 types of wine are tasted, in a way to offer a more complete perspective on different styles of wine.

Duration of 1 month (1 class per week)
Degustation of 1 wines during the course.
