| The event happened at the Clube das Nações, in the Setor de Clubes Sul, and there the guests could get to know a little bit more about the interesting cultures of each country. At the social halls of the club there were stands specially decorated with many items related to each culture such as typical clothes, sweets, cigars, liquors, artistic work, videos etc. |

| The Embassy of Guatemala prepared an exhibition of typical clothes from that country. The collection is owned by the couple Ivan and Monique Avena, who lived in Guatemala and became fascinated with those beautiful garments. Mr. and Mrs. Avena are from France and Switzerland, respectively, and lived today in the city of Goiânia, capital of the Brazilian state Goiás. They travel through many cities presenting this exhibition that is the biggest collection of Guatemalan culture in Brazil, with over 300 objects. |

The beautiful night at the club had a special celebration mood, due to beautiful jazz and Bossa Nova songs played by a very talented music trio. The confraternization among the guests was present everywhere and the union and friendship of those host ambassadors and diplomats was a beautiful example of cordial diplomacy. |
