Ambassador of Kenya in Brazil, Mr. Pius Barasa Namachanja and his wife, Mrs. Eunice Barasa Namachanja.
In celebration of the Kenya’s national day, the ambassador Pius Barasa Namachanja and family receptionated honorable guests at his residence in Lago Sul (Southside lake) on December 12th, 2008.

Among the guests there were foreign ambassadors, Brazilian authorities, businessmen and personalities of Brasiliense society.

Afterwards the guests’ arrival, the national anthem of Brazil and Kenya were played, followed by a welcome speech of the ambassador thanking for everyone’s presence and also emphasizing the importance of the development of relations between Kenya and Brazil. Everybody applauded the ambassador and then the ambassador invited all guests to join a celebration dinner.

Guests enjoyed a celebration dinner.
The atmosphere of fraternization was constant in that cheerful evening and the ambassador Namachanja and his wife, Mrs. Eunice Barasa Namachanja were well complimented by the event’ success.
Diplomats from all African embassies were at the event.
The success of the event brought a sensational feeling of joy and hope to an unified community.
