The Ambassador, Dato Ismail Mustapha and his wife, Mrs. Zainab Ismail, received on August 31st of 2006, in their residence, dozens of guests for the celebration of the of National Day of Malaysia.

The celebration mood was steady.
There were ambassadors and diplomats from many countries among the guests, besides the authorities from the Brazilian government and personalities of the society of Brasilia.

After the Brazilian and Malaysian national anthems were played, the Ambassador Dato Ismail Mustapha, who wore typical clothes from his country, made a speech thanking for everyone's presence.

After his speech, the Ambassador invited his colleagues from ASEAN (Asian Southeast Nations Association), to cut the cake with him, for the celebration of the Malaysia's Independence Signature Anniversary.

The guests could taste the buffet that was served in two different places, next to the pool. The dinner presented Malaysian typical food and was followed by the degustation of the cake.

The guests tasted many dishes of Malaysian Cuisine.
