| On September 14th, the Mexican Ambassador, Mr. Andrés Valencia, newly arrived in Brazil welcomed along with his wife, Mrs. Consuelo Ayala Valencia and Mexican diplomats from all over Brazil, dozens of guests to celebrate the National Day of their country that officially happens on September 16th. |

| After the reception, the Mexican Minister, Mr. Hermann Aschentrupp Toledo invited everyone present to the opening ceremony. It started with the Brazilian and Mexican National anthems followed by the speech from the Ambassador, Mr. Andrés Valencia. The 196th anniversary of the beginning of the war for the independence of his country was mentioned by him. This event originated the National Day of Mexico. The Ambassador Valencia proposed a toast afterwards. |
