The embassy of Morocco received dozens of guests to celebrate its national day on August 31st of 2006.

The ambassadress Farida Jaidi, her husband Mohamed Bekouchi and other Moroccan diplomats received the greetings from the Diplomatic Body members, authorities from the Brazilian government, businessmen and personalities from the society of Brasília, for the passage of this so important date.

Soon after arriving, the guests admired the beauty of the embassy, with typical decoration from the country. They were also invited to try date palm fruit with milk, a delight from the Moroccan gastronomy.

The reception occurred in the balconies and gardens of the embassy, an environment taken by the happiness and casualness of the guests. Everyone received the sympathy from the Moroccan diplomats, which offered the degustation of typical sweets, varied teas and even the famous Moroccan couscous, a success in the event.
