| In the beginning of the afternoon of August 1st of 2006 the ambassador of Switzerland, Mr. Rudolf Baerfuss and his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Baerfuss along with other Swiss diplomats received dozens of guests for the Wine of Honor to celebrate the Switzerland National Day. |

| The celebration started with the reception of the hosts at the entrance of the official residence. The guests were directed to the outside area of the residence, where they could enjoy the beauty of the gardens and a beautiful view of Lake Paranoá, which with its blue color below the sun of the afternoon, contributed a lot to make the animated atmosphere even better. |

| After everyone's arrival, the national anthems of Brazil and Switzerland were played, followed by the welcome speech from the ambassador Baerfuss, which emphasized the good relations between Switzerland and Brazil and proposed a toast to pay homage to the national date of his country.
