Africa's Day was celebrated in Brasília on May the 28th 2009, when hundreds of people were present at the Clube das Nações to take part at a great party organized by the African embassies.

Cameroun's ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Martin Mbarga Nguele, had dozens of guests for the celebration of his Country's National Day. The cheerful event took place in the early afternoon of May 20, 2009, at the official residence, located in Brasília's Lago Sul neighborhood.

The Celebration of the 2009 National Day of the South Africa Republic took place on Tuesday, April 28th. The Ambassador Bangumzi Sifingo offered a reception for dozens of guests.

The Celebration of 2009 National Day of the Islamic Republic of Ira, took place on Tuesday, February 10th, at the Ambassador Mohsen Shaterzadeh Yazdi official residency.

On the official residence, the Spanish Ambassador, Mr. Ricardo Peidró Conde and his wife, the Brazilian Nize Cardoso Dorea Peidró, received along with other Spanish diplomats hundreds of guests for the celebration of the National Day of Spain on October 10th of 2006.

The embassy of Korea welcomed dozens of guests for the celebration of its National Day, on October 5th. The Ambassador, Mr. Jong-Hwa Choe welcomed the guests along with his wife, Mrs. Kyu Sook Uhm and other Korean diplomats.

Dozens of guests could appreciate on September 29th of 2006, the celebration of the National Day of China. The hosts, Ambassador Chen Duqing and his wife, Mrs. Hu Fengxian received everyone for a pleasant celebration.

The ambassador of Slovakian Republic, Mr. Marián Masarik, along with his wife, Mrs. Daniella Masarikova and the embassy's diplomats, Mr. Peter Paullcek, General Consul and Mrs. Terézia Sajgalíková, Second Secretary, welcomed on September 26th dozens of guests for the celebration of the National Day of Slovakia, that officially happens on September 1st.

The Embassy of Saudi Arabia, represented by its Chargé d'Affaires Mr. Abdullah Abdulrahman Rashed Alowaifeer along with other diplomats from the country welcomed dozens of guests for the celebrations of its National Day on September 21st of 2006.

On September 18th of 2006, the Chilean Ambassador, Mr. Demetrio Infante and his wife, Mrs. Angela Bilbao de Infante, along with diplomats from Chile welcomed on the official residence dozens of guests for the celebration of the National Day of his country.

On September 15th of 2006, the Ambassadors of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua celebrated together the National Day of their countries.

On September 14th, the Mexican Ambassador, Mr. Andrés Valencia, newly arrived in Brazil welcomed along with his wife, Mrs. Consuelo Ayala Valencia and Mexican diplomats from all over Brazil, dozens of guests to celebrate the National Day of their country that officially happens on September 16th.

The Embassy of Vietnam celebrated its National Day on September 5th of 2006. The recently arrived ambassador from that country, Mr. Nguyen Tach Dinh, welcomed the guests with his wife, Mrs. Tran Thi Lien. The Vietnamese counselor, Mr. Vu Thanh Nam and Colonel Tuan, Military Attaché were also greeted by the guests.

The Ambassador, Dato Ismail Mustapha and his wife, Mrs. Zainab Ismail, received on August 31st of 2006, in their residence, dozens of guests for the celebration of the of National Day of Malaysia.

In the beginning of the afternoon on August 31st of 2006, the embassy of Trinidad and Tobago celebrated its National Day.

The Ambassador of Uruguay, Mr. Pedro Vaz and other diplomats from the Embassy of Uruguay celebrated the National Day of that country organizing a big party on August 25th of 2006.

The Indian ambassador, Mr. Hardeet Singh Puri and his wife, Mrs. Lakshmi Puri, along with Indian diplomats, received on August 15th, approximately five hundred guests, to celebrate the National Day of India.

On August 10th the Ambassador of Ecuador, Mr. Eduardo Mora-Anda and his wife, Mrs. Maria Mora-Anda, along with members of the Ecuadorian diplomatic body celebrated the national day of their country.

In the beginning of the afternoon of August 1st of 2006 the ambassador of Switzerland, Mr. Rudolf Baerfuss and his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Baerfuss along with other Swiss diplomats received dozens of guests for the Wine of Honor to celebrate the Switzerland National Day.

The embassy of Morocco received dozens of guests to celebrate its national day on August 31st of 2006.

The Embassy of France celebrated its national date on July 14th of 2006. Hundreds of people attended the official residence of the ambassador of France, Mr. Jean de Gliniasty, where they were greeted by himself, his wife, Mrs. Catherine de Gliniasty and other French diplomats.

The embassy of the United States of America celebrated its Independence Day on Sunday, July the 2nd at the official residence in the district of Parkway.

The ambassador of Canada, Mr. Guilhermo Rishchynski and his wife, Mrs. Jiannette Rishchynski , received dozens of guests at his residence in the district Lago Sul, for the celebration of the national day of their country.

On June 8th, the embassy of the United Kingdom celebrated its National Day and the birthday of Queen Elizabeth.

The ambassador of Portugal, Mr. Francisco Seixas da Costa, received hundreds of guests on the night of June 10th in order to celebrate the National Day of its country.

The Russian Embassy celebrated the National Day on June 12th, 2006. The Russian ambassador, Mr. Vladimir Tyurdenev, received dozens of guests in the social halls of the embassy to a commemorative dinner.

The Philippine Embassy received many guests on June 12th to celebrate its National Day. The event happened in the official residence of the ambassador, where she with other Philippines diplomats and consuls of many Brazilian cities, received the greetings of the guests with a lot of sympathy.

The Italian Embassy realized a big celebration on June 2nd to celebrate its National Day.

The embassy of Argentina celebrated its National Date in a big party at the official residence of the Argentinean Ambassador Mr. Juan Pablo Lohlé, on May 25th, 2006.

On Thursday, April 27th, the Ambassador of Netherlands in Brazil Mr.Onno Hattinga and his wife received guests to celebrate the official birthday of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix, Netherlands National.

The ambassador of Namibia in Brazil, Mr. Patrick Nandago, has received dozens of guests for the homage dinner to the National Date of his country on April 20th, 2006.

The embassy of Dominican Republic celebrated the 162nd anniversary of the National Independence. In the National Day in March 2006, the ambassador Manuel Morales Lama received dozens of guests to a reception in his residence in Lago Sul, Brasília.

The embassy of Tunisia celebrated its National Day on March 20th, 2006, with a dinner in Clube Monte Líbano of Brasilia.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka celebrated its National Day on last February 4th, 2006. The event occurred at the Embassy, where many diplomats, members of the Sri Lankan community, among other guests, took part of a religious ceremony.

It is a tradition of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Brasilia, every year, to celebrate its National Day in a magnificent way. However, this year the Kuwaiti people are in a 40 days mourning, paying homage to His Majesty Sheik Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait since 1978, who passed away on January 15th, 2006. It was an irreparable loss to the social and political world, mainly to the Kuwaiti people, who used to call the Governor as “Baba Jaber” (Dad Jaber).

The Embassy of Angola celebrated its National Day on Friday, November 11th, 2005, offering to the Diplomatic Corps a festive dinner at Clube Naval de Brasília.

The Embassy of Spain, on October 10th, celebrated its National Day at the Embassy with the presence of many personalities, invited by Ambassador Ricardo Peidró Conde, of Spain, and his wife, Ambassadress Nize Cardoso Dorea.

The Embassy of Korea celebrated its National Day on the last October, 5th, receiving its guests to a co fraternization dinner in the gardens of the residence of the Ambassador Kwang-dong Kim.

The Indonesian Embassy celebrated its National Day on September 29th, offering dinner and a lovely presentation of folkloric dances from that beautiful country in the Clube Naval of Brasília.

On September 22nd, the diplomats and Chargé d’Affaires Abdullah Alowaifeer of the Saudi Arabian Embassy hosted hundreds of guests at the hall of Porto Vittória, for a lovely reception celebrating their National Day.

On September 17th, the Ambassador of Mexico, Mrs. Cecilia Soto González, hosted representatives of the Embassies of the American Continent countries and Mexicans residing in Brazil to celebrate Mexico’s National Day.

On September 15th, the Embassy of Costa Rica commemorated its National Day with a very special performance of the Costa Rican guitar player Mario Ulloa at the National Theater.

On September 15th the neighbour countries in Central America celebrate their Independence day. In Brasília, the Heads of Mission of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua celebrated together, as they do traditionally, at a remarkable reception tat took place at Clube das Nações.

The Embassy of Vietnam celebrated its National Day on September the 1st, offering dinner at Clube Naval with the presence of dozens of diplomats.

On August 31st, returning from long, diserved vacations, the Ambassador of Ukraine, Mr. Yurii Bogaievsky and Ambassadress Olga Bogaievska received guests from the Diplomatic Community at thepleasant hall of Porto Vitória, at the shores of Paranoá Lake, for a lovely reception to celebrate the National Day of Ukraine.

On August 22nd, the Embassy of Hungary celebrated its National Day. The Ambassador of Hungary, Mr. Jószef Németh and his wife, Mrs. Eszter Domonkos, received the guests at the terrace of the Embassy.

The Ambassador of Gabon, Mr. Benjamin Legnongo-Ndumba hosted the Diplomatic Community at the hall of Monte Libano, to celebrate the National Day of Gabon at a lovely dinner reception on August 17th.

On August 5th, the diplomats of the Embassy of Côte D’Ivoire had a “vin d'honneur” to celebrate its National Day, at the residence of Ambassador Colette Gallié Lambin, with the presence of dozens of guests.

The Ambassador of Switzerland, Mr. Rudolf Baerfuss and his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Baerfuss, invited the Diplomatic Community on August 1st, to celebrate the Swiss National Day.

On July 29th, the Ambassador of Peru, Mr. Hernán A. Couturier-Mariátegui hosted the Diplomatic Community at his residence for a lovely reception offered in celebration of the Peruvian National Day.

The Ambassador of Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Abdalla, and his wife, Mrs. Madia Awad Mahmoud El Rais, hosted the Diplomatic Community at their residence, on July 21st, to commemorate the Egyptian National Day.

On June 14 th the diplomats of the French mission in Brasília offered a "vin d'honneur" for the Diplomatic Corps to celebrate the National Day of France. The celebration was held on the lovely lawns of "Clube de Golfe" at a most pleasant evening.

On July 12th, the diplomats of the Embassy of Colombia commemorated its National Day organizing a musical show and traditional dances from various regions of Colombia, at “Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil”.

On July 5th, the diplomats of the Venezuelan Embassy, Ambassador Julio José Garcia Montoya and his wife, Mrs. Ana Josefina Cumare de Garcia, hosted hundreds of guests at the lovely residence of the Embassy.

The Embassy of the United States of America celebrated their National Day at the gardens of the Embassy on the 4th of July, when the country traditionally commemorates its Independence.
