The Embassy of Germany was the great Champion of the II THE GUIDE Beach Volleyball Tournament 2008, which took place last Saturday December 6th, repeating the result of the first tournament edition, which took place in the month of April.

The Embassy of Russia was the great champion of the 1 st THE GUIDE Volleyball Tournament 2007, after disputing a balanced match on the final against the team of the Embassy of Venezuela, which got the trophy for the second best team of the tournament. The embassy of Nigeria got the third place, which had the participation of the Ambassador Kayode Garrick among its athletes.

UNESCO was the great champion of the 1st ASDIBRA Volleyball Tournament 2005, which took place on Saturday, May 7th, at Clube Naval. Russia was the runner-up, with BRASIF in the third place, in this event full of emotions.

On January 17th, the Brasília Golf Club held a friendly tournamet for the diplomatic community, put up by Mr. Daniel McLaughlin, of the U.S. Embassy.
