Dinner honoring the president of Cameroon

To honor the visit of the President of Cameroon, Mr. Paul Biya, and a delegation of Government authorities from that country to Brazil, the Ambassador of Cameroon, Mr. Martin Agbor Mbeng, promoted a dinner at the official residence.

Beautiful tables were prepared for the celebration.

A band played jazz during the event.

The event was held at the ambassador's official residence on August 04 2010 and dozens of guests were there to greet Cameroon’s President, Ministers and other Cameroonian authorities. Among the guests there were Brazilian Ministers and government officials, ambassadors, businessmen and personalities of Brasilia’s society.

After the guests arrival, Ambassador Martin Mbeng thanked the presence of everyone and highlighted the importance of the growing relations between Brazil and Cameroon. The Brazilian Minister Eloi F. de Araujo, the Cameroonian Deputy Prime Minister Jean Nkuete and the Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of Zimbabwe Thomas S. Bruma, also made speeches about the importance of the friendship between Brazil and the African Countries. The speeches were much applauded by all guests.

Then everyone was invited to enjoy a dinner with typical dishes from Brazil and Cameroon in an environment of fellowship. During the dinner, a beautiful dance performance was made with different Brazilian rhythms as samba and forró.

Guests enjoyed a dinner with dishes from Brazil and Cameroon.

Different Brazilian dances were performed at the celebration.

The Brazilian capoeira fight was also performed.

A lot of fraternization at the celebration dinner.
