The Ambassadors of Sri Lanka, Mr. Adam Sadiq, and of Pakistan, Mr. Alangir Babar, held a dinner on March 26th 2011 to felicitate the new Chief of Protocol of the Brazilian Foreign Ministry (Itamaraty), Ambassador Maria de Lujam Caputo Winkler. |

The event took place at the social halls and open air areas of the Ambassador of Sri Lanka’s official residence, in the neighborhood of Lago Sul and among the guests there were ambassadors, diplomats and members of Brasilia’s society. |

After the guests arrival, Ambassadors of Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Mr. Adam Sadiq and Mr. Alangir Babar delivered a speech wishing Mrs. Winkler success in her new position. She thanked the hosts and the guests for the friendly and beautiful event and said that she will do her best as Chief of Protocol. |
