| The lively event occurred on June 11 and among the guests there were ambassadors, diplomats, Brazilian government officials, businessmen and members of the Brasilia’s society. All were happily received by the Ambassador of South Africa, Mr. Bangumzi Sifingo and diplomats and members of the South African community in Brasilia. |

| The guests fraternized in the social halls and lounges of the official residence, where a beautiful decoration with the theme of the World Cup enlivened the event. Big screens TVs were placed at various locations, allowing everyone to have a good view of the opening match, played between South Africa and Mexico. Several companies were part of the event, including the company Pufolândia poufs, which presented the ambassador with a nice pouf soccer ball with an embroidered flag of that beautiful country. |

Everyone believed in the good performance of the South African team and the first goal of the game brought the excitement to everyone. Even the goal of Mexico that tied the game did not compromise the satisfaction of South Africans, since the draw was considered a good result for most of them. |
