On October 26th 2009 the Austrian Embassy celebrated its National Day. The Ambassador of Austria in Brazil, Mr. Hans-Peter Glanzer was greeted by the guests for that special date.
The Celebration took place at the social hall and open air areas of the Embassy. There were ambassadors, diplomats, Brazilian authorities, businessmen and members of Brasilia’s society.
Many representatives of the Austrian community were also at the celebration, some wearing typical clothes from that beautiful country.
After the guests arrival, the anthems of Brazil and Austria were played by the Brazilian Naval Band. After that, Ambassador Hans-Peter Glanzer gave a speech about the friendship of Brazil and Austria.
After the speech, Ambassador Hans-Peter Glanzer invited the guests to enjoy a celebration dinner, served at the embassy’s dining hall. |
