NATIONAL DAY OF Cameroon 2011

The Embassy of Cameroon celebrated the National Day of its country with a reception held on the beginning of the afternoon of Friday, May 20th 2011.

Ambassador of Cameroon in Brazil, Mr. Martin Agbor Mbeng, was greeted by dozens of guests at the beautiful embassy in the Lago Sul neighborhood.

Among the guests there were Brazilian government officials, ambassadors, diplomats, businessmen, intellectuals, artists and members of the Cameroon’s community in Brasília.

Ambassador Mbeng welcomed the guests and invited all to hear the anthems of Brazil and Cameroon. Then, a buffet with typical dishes from those countries was served in the areas near the swimming pool and also in tents specially prepared for the event.

After the arrival of the guests, the anthems of Brazil and Cameroon were played.

Guests enjoyed a lunch with dishes from Brazil and Cameroon.

The guests enjoyed the beautiful event under an atmosphere of fellowship and ambassador Mbeng and other diplomats from Cameroon were greeted for the success of the celebration.
