The Ambassador of France, Mr. Antoine Pouillieute with the Ambassadress Marie Pierre Pouillieute.

The Ambassador of France, Mr Antoine Pouillieute and his wife, Mrs. Marie Pierre Pouillieute, along with all diplomats and members of the embassy of France, celebrated the National Day of France on July 14th 2007. Hundreds of guests were at the official residence at Setor de Embaixadas Sul for the event.

The party began at 7:00 pm with the presence of Brazilian and foreign authorities, ambassadors, consuls, diplomats and businessmen. The ambience was pleasant, allowing the guests to fraternize.

The event happened at the internal and external areas of the official residence. A Jazz band was specially hired to liven up the guests until the end of the night.

The ambassador of France made a speech thanking the presence of everyone and emphasized the importance of the growing relations between France and Brazil. After the speech, a band and a choir played the anthems of France and Brazil.

Guests had a lot of fraternization and joy at the event.
The event was decorated with the colors of the French flag. The ambience was very festive and, during the party, delicacies from Brazil and France were served. Among the typical dishes, there were quichés, onion soup, breads, the Brazilian traditional Feijoada and fruits, besides wines and other drinks.
