The National Day of Germany was celebrated on September 27th, 2011, when the German Ambassador Wilfried Grolig received hundreds of guests at the embassy located in the Setor de Embaixadas Sul (Southern Sector of Embassies).

The event was enlivened by a band, which performed several German and Brazilian songs.

After the arrival of the guests, the anthems of Brazil and Germany was played. Then the German Ambassador Wilfried Grolig made a speech thanking the present of the guests and highlighting various issues on the relations between his country and Brazil. A toast in honor of the National Day of Germany and the friendly relations with Brazil was proposed by the ambassador, accompanied by all guests. The ambassador then invited everyone to taste typical dishes of Germany. |
