The Hungarian National Day was celebrated at October 20th 2009 on the Embassy of Hungary. The Ambassador of Hungary in Brazil, Mr. Csaba Pólyi, greeted the guests as they arrived by the event hall.
The celebration took place at the top floor of the Embassy building showing a stunning view of the Paranoa Lake through its balcony. There were ambassadors, diplomats, Brazilian authorities, businessmen and members of Brasilia’s society.
After the guests arrival the Brazilian and Hungarian Anthems were played and the Hungarian Ambassador, Mr. Csaba Pólyi gave a speech about the friendship between the two countries. At the end of the speech he invited the guest to enjoy a celebration dinner with Brazilian and Hungarian food.
