The Embassy of India celebrated its National Day on January 6th of 2008, receiving hundreds of guests for a dinner at a special space for events, at the neighborhood of Lago Sul, in Brasilia.

Dozens of guests were at the beautiful celebration.

In an ambience of much fraternization, all the guests congratulated the ambassador of India, Mr. Hardeet Singh Puri, for the passage of such important day.

Guests greeted the diplomats from India.

Besides the beautiful decoration of the place, which counted on art objects and fabrics from that beautiful and exotic country, the guests could also contemplate the exhibition of photographs and engravings about India’s culture.

The typical Indian dishes were appreciated by all the guests, among them, ambassadors, diplomats, authorities from Brazilian government, intellectuals, businessmen and personalities of Brasilia’s society. Everyone complimented the beauty of the celebration, which was completed with the sympathy of the diplomats from India.
Guests enjoyed the typical dishes from that beautiful country.

Mrs. Jana Chaloupková, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Czech Republic and Mr. Hengki Adhika Pinandito, Third Secretary at the Embassy of Indonesia.


Ambassador of India, Mr. Hardeet Singh Puri and ladies from that exotic country.
