| The Indonesian Embassy celebrated its National Day on September 29th, offering dinner and a lovely presentation of folkloric dances from that beautiful country in the Clube Naval of Brasília. |

| Dozens of guests of the Diplomatic Corps, authorities of the Federal Government, members of the civil and military corporations, businessmen and members of the Society of Brasília were present at the event to congratulate Ambassador Pieter Taruyu Vau, the other diplomats of the Embassy and also some Indonesian residents in Brasilia for this important day. |

| As soon as the guests arrived in the Clube Naval, they were amazed by the beauty of the typical costumes of Indonesia, which were worn by the receptionists. The vibrant colors and the beautiful ornaments of decoration arranged around the club gave a lovely and pleasant atmosphere to the event. |

| The guests could choose sitting at the main hall of Clube Naval or at the porch facing Paranoá Lake. The charming night, with a nice weather, collaborated to the success of the event, presenting all the guests an amazing nocturne view of the lake. |

| Around eight o’clock at the night, everybody was invited to go to club’s main hall where Ambassador Pieter Taruyu Vau made a short speech to thank the guests for their presence, followed by the presentation of Brazilian and Indonesian Anthems. Then, the expected show of folkloric dances began. |

| The beauty of the typical costumes, associated to the lightness of the dancers guided by the harmonic traditional Indonesian melodies, offering the guests a unique and exciting spectacle, culminating with a vibrating presentation of a dance group formed exclusively by children. The organization and arrangement of the presentations was under responsibility of Counselor Teiseran Foun Cornelis, who was much praised for the success of the performances. |
