| To celebrate the National Day of Japan, the Japanese embassy in Brasilia organized a big party on December 13th, in which the Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Ken Shimanouchi along with the minister Hidekazu Yamaguchi and his wife, Mrs. Motoko Yamaguchi, received hundreds of guests, which were welcomed at the social halls entrance of the embassy. |

| The Brazilian Air Force band cheered the event with beautiful international and Brazilian songs. The mood was of happiness among the guests, which stayed in the indoor and outdoor halls of the embassy. |

| After everyone's arrival, the Ambassador Ken Shimanouchi gave a quick speech thanking everyone's presence and emphasized the importance of Japan's national day and the strong relations of this country with Brazil. His words were applauded and his happy and sympathetic ways were really complimented by the present people. Following the speech, the Japanese and Brazilian anthems were played. |
