The Malaysian Ambassador in Brazil , Mrs. Sudha Devi, received guests in the early afternoon of September 15, 2011 to celebrate the National Day of Malaysia.

| The beautiful event was held at the official residence, located in the neighborhood of Lago Sul and was attended by dozens of guests, including Brazilian government officials, ambassadors and foreign diplomats, businessmen and members of the Distrito Federal (Federal District). Everyone congratulated the ambassador and other diplomats of Malaysia for the passage of that important day. |

| After the guests arrival, the anthems of Brazil and Malaysia were played, then ambassador Sudha Devi gave a speech in which she thanked the presence of all and highlighted the growth of relations between her country and Brazil. |

| The guests were invited to enjoy a celebration lunch with dishes from Malaysia, served at the dinning hall of the residence. Everyone fraternized in the external areas of the residence in what was undoubtedly a very pleasant afternoon. |
