Many people attended the celebration of Mexico National Day, on September 16th, 2009. The Mexican ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Andrés Leopoldo Valencia Benavides, received the guests to a commemoration lunch in the embassy’s social halls and open air areas. The Mexican embassy is located at Setor de Embaixadas Sul in Brasília. |

After the arrival of all guests, the national anthems of Brazil and Mexico were played. Then, the ambassador of Mexico, Mr. Andrés Leopoldo Valencia Benavides made a speech thanking everyone’s presence and emphasizing the importance of Mexico’s National Day and the friendly relations between his country and Brazil. He was very much applauded. |
