The embassy of Nigeria celebrated the National Day of its country promoting a reception for dozens of people at the official residence on the night of October 1st, 2010.

| The Minister of Nigeria, Mrs. Uche Ajulu-Okeke and other diplomats of Nigeria were greeted by the guests for the important date. Among the guests were ambassadors, diplomats, Brazilian government officials, businessmen and members of the society of Brasilia. |

| Minister Ajulu-Okeke gave a speech thanking all those present and emphasizing the good relations between Nigeria and Brazil. Her speech was praised by all the guests. Then, all guests were invited for a celebration dinner with typical dishes from Nigeria. |

After the dinner, the guests danced under Nigerian music, which has a joyful contagious rhythm. |
