The actress and singer Adriana Mezzadri, Peruvian descendant, performed typical music from Peru.
Latin America's oldest musical traditions are those of the Amerindians of the Andes. Their music is best known outside these countries through the characteristic panpipes of poncho-clad folklore groups, reproduced by the beautiful, powerful voice of Adriana Mezzadri. There is a multitude of rhythms and popular musics found in Peru that really deserve more recognition, as the Embassy promoted here in Brasília during this event.
A beautiful performance of the traditional Peruvian music.
The beautifully adorned patio of the Embassy, surrounded by well cared gardens, and the elegant hall of the residence of Ambassador Hernán A. Couturier-Mariátegui seemed small for so many friends, but certainly worthy of such distinguished guests.
Friends enjoyed the lovely reception at the beautiful gardens and the impressive stony hall of the residence of the Embassy.
