| The Embassy of Spain, on October 10th, celebrated its National Day at the Embassy with the presence of many personalities, invited by Ambassador Ricardo Peidró Conde, of Spain, and his wife, Ambassadress Nize Cardoso Dorea. |

| At a beautiful warm evening of October, crowned by the shiny stars in the sky, typical on the dryer months in Brasília, contributed to a delightful dinner reception praised by all the guests. Altogether, over a hundred guests were honored the event and enjoyed the friendly hospitality of the Spanish diplomats. Typical adorns and traditional Spanish costumes took the guests into a little of this nation. |

| As they arrived at the Residence of Ambassador Peiró Conde, the guests were greeted at the very entrance of the porch by the hosting couple and the other diplomats of the Embassy, elegantly welcoming everyone. After the reception, the band of the Armed Forces performed the National Anthems of Brazil and Spain, and the Ambassador Ricardo Peidró Conde gave a short speech thanking the presence of the “friends of Spain” and exalted the good bilateral relations between Brazil and Spain in the past few years. |

| The dinner reception, celebrating the “Day of Hispanity”, the day when Christopher Columbus arrived in America, was honored by the presence of many important personalities of the Diplomatic Community and the Brazilian government, business men in Brasília and Spanish citizens residing in Brasília, a friendly, cozy dozens of the most distinguished guests. |
