| Among the guests, Ambassadors, Ministers and members of several diplomatic missions, Brazilian governmental authorities and representatives of Brazilian and international companies such as BMW, represented by Mr. Gisbert Verse, from Welt Motors. |
| The dinner reception was praised by all the guests. |
| At the reception, the Tunisian wine, which is said to be conquering its spot side by side with the best Mediterranean wines, was served to the guests. The menu was composed by a delicious lamb with "couscous" (usually prepared from coarse semolina, made from wheat, sometimes produced from barley, maize, millet, rice and other grains), the most traditional Tunisan food. The Ambassador Hassine Bouzid, himself, was very proud of the delicious dinner served that night. "The Tunisian food is nothing like the food in the other Arab countries, we don't have kafta or kibe, and we love lamb with "couscous", said the Ambassador. |

| It is said that Tunisia has much more to offer than its size would cope, and the friendly, nice Tunisian people, supported by a three thousand years culture, makes a visit to the county an unforgettable experience. And the joyfulness and cordiality made those present at the reception a little as if they were in Tunisia itself. |
| The Arab communities also had their reprentatives at the event. Here, the proud Mr. Khaled El Fendri, Counsellor of the Embassy of Tunisia and his wife, Mrs. Henda El Fendri, happy to celebrate their nation's National Day. |

| Conquering its autonomy in 1956, Tunisia started to chart new avenue for progress, becoming a very modern nation. In the same year of its Independence, Tunisia also approved a law against monogamy and the women received the same rights of men, as to vote and to freelly speak. Certainly an ancient and fascinating history, a strong culture and a remarkable people make of Tunisia a great nation. |
