The embassy of Tunisia celebrated its National Day on March 20th, 2006, with a dinner in Clube Monte Líbano of Brasilia.

Dozens of ambassadors, diplomats, authorities from Brazilian federal government, executives and members from the society of Brasilia, including the Miss Distrito Federal 2006, were in the event.

After the arrival of the guests, they were invited to go to the dinning room of the club, where a musical group was animating the ambience with presentations of Brazilian and Tunisian music.

The Prime Secretary Salah Chebbi welcomed all invitees in the name of the ambassador and the other members from embassy of Tunisia and gave a speech emphasizing the friendship feeling of that country about the other members of the international community. At the end of the speech, all guests were invited to propose a toast to tribute that important national day, which is also the fiftieth anniversary of the Tunisian independence. All they did it with gladness and happiness. A delicious dinner was served to all invitees, who tasted Brazilian and Tunisian dishes.
