| THE GUIDE talked to Ambassador Bogaievsky regarding the actual status of the projects of the Embassy in Brazil and the relations between Brazil and Ukraine. “It is a particularly interesting moment for our relations. I have seen a lot of changes on my people, they are much more united now. That is, of course, a reflex to the excellent job of President Yushchenko and the Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko who are very determined to implement what they have promised, very conscious of the problems the country faces and what is necessary to correct them. And now we are preparing a visit of the Ukraine’s Prime-Minister to Brazil to promote economic cooperation, and especially our joint project in the area of space technologies. But I consider a priority to continue promoting the political relationships and preserve the dynamics of discussions in the political level, cultural, humanitarian, sports, all the many other areas in which Brazil and Ukraine have accomplished so much in the past few years. And we must also continue working so that our parliament and the Brazilian Congress create new legal bases for improving the relations between us, not only for officials but also for the ordinary people of the two countries. |
