After the arrival of the guests, the anthems of Brazil and Uruguay were played. After that, the ambassador made a short speech thanking the presence of all, emphasizing the good relations with Brazil and the strong feeling of love to the homeland, Uruguay, which, even far away, keeps preserved the feeling of nationalism in each one’s heart. Very applauded, the ambassador offered a toast for the passage of the National Day of his country. |
