| The guests were greeted with the warm welcoming of the kind hosts. |

| The gardens, at the backyard of the residence, surrounding the beautiful swimming pool, which reflected the blue sky in the sunny afternoon, was carefully decorated to receive the guests, including with artifacts from Venezuela, characterizing the reception. |

| The beautiful decorations of the gardens made the celebration even greater. Flower arrangements and typical ornaments from Venezuela composed the ambience. |

| Ambassador Julio José Garcia Montoya and the diplomats of the Embassy of Venezuela greeted the guests at the entrance of the residence. After the warm welcoming of the kind hosts, everyone gathered by the swimming pool to watch the performance of the Brazilian Armed Forces Band playing both Brazilian and Venezuelan National Anthems. |

| Following the performance of the band, Ambassador Julio Montoya gave a passionate speech to the guests, telling a little of the history of General Simon Bolivar and Venezuela, the role of Venezuela on the world at the moment and the success of the bilateral relations between Brazil and Venezuela. In the end, saluting all the guests, the Ambassador of Venezuela invited all that were present to enjoy the lovely lunch prepared by the Embassy. |

| Hundreds of guests came to the event to honor the mission of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Among them were representatives of the Brazilian government, personalities of the city of Brasília and diplomats from the other missions in the capital. |

Exhibitions
The Embassy of Venezuela also presented a number of artistic attractions on that very special date. In an effort to bring both Brazilian and Venezuelan arts closer, important exhibition were set at the Embassy. One was the exhibition of paintings, sculptures and other pieces from Venezuela and handicraft from the Northeast of Brazil. Another one, a literature exhibitions with dozens of classic and contemporary novels of the Latin literature. And also, video projections regarding the beauties of Venezuela, its History and main features.
