NATIONAL DAY >> National Day of Vietnam
The Vietnam embassy celebrated their National Date on September 2nd of 2008. The celebration occurred at the Brasilia Naval Club, where several guests were welcomed for a gracious dinner reception.

The Ambassador and diplomats from the Vietnam embassy were complimented by all the guests.
The ambassador of the Vietnam embassy, Mr. Nguyen Thac Dinh, was congratulated by all other ambassadors, authorities of the Brazilian government, diplomats, businessmen, intellectuals and represents of the Brazilian elite society.

Upon the arrival of all invited guests, Mr. Dhin gave a very warming speech thanking the presence of all guests and giving great importance to the growth of the diplomatic and commercial relation between Brazil and Vietnam. At the end of his speech, he offered a toast in honor of the friendship growth between both countries.

As the event took its course, the guests were honored with a presentation of dances and traditional suits of Vietnam, and were guided towards the evening hall, where typical dishes from Vietnam were offered for dinner to all guests.

Another attraction at the event was the exposition of Brazilian liquor – cachaças, for the appreciation of the guests, which didn´t hesitate to flavor it and certify of its quality in production and brand. Saracura brand is produced in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais and blended in Brasilia. Mr. Élio Oliveira, responsible for the blending process and commercialization of the cachaça Saracura, thanked the invitation of the Ambassador of the Vietnam embassy, Mr. Dhin, and for making it able for the exposition of this Brazilian product, which demonstrated the affection of the people of the Vietnam in fortifying each time more the relations of the Vietnam with Brazil.
