| The National Day of Vietnam was celebrated on September 1st 2011, when the ambassador of that country, Mr. Duong Nguyen Tuong, received hundreds of guests for a dinner at the embassy. |

| Among the guests there were ambassadors, diplomats, Brazilian and foreign authorities, intellectuals, businessmen and members of the community of Vietnam in Brazil. |

| The event took place in the social lounges and beautiful yards of the embassy. After the guests’ arrival, the anthems of Brazil and Vietnam were played. Then ambassador Duong Nguyen Tuong gave a speech emphasizing the good relations between Brazil and Vietnam. |

| After the speech, the ambassador invited everyone to enjoy a dinner with typical dishes of his country. All greeted the diplomats and attachés from Vietnam for the success of the celebration. |
