| The celebration took place in the gardens and balcony of the official Embassy, where the guests had an opportunity to enjoy the cheerful African music. African videos and pictures were also shown in a big screen during the event. |

Ambassador Bangumzi Sifingo delivered a speech and spoke greatly about the characteristics of the South African people and the growth of diplomatic relations between South Africa and Brazil. He also emphasized the perspectives and changes happening in the country due to the Football World Cup, an event that will take place in Africa next year 2010.
