The National Day of Switzerland was celebrated on June 29th, 2009, in which occasion the new ambassador of that country, Mr. Wilhelm Meier, received dozens of guests for a celebration dinner. |

The guests fraternized in the embassy’s social halls and pátio, where a band was playing swiss and Brazilian tunes. Among the present people there were ambassadors, Brazilian government authorities, diplomats, businessmen and Brasilia’s society personnalities. |

After the guests arrival, the Swiss ambassador, Mr. Wilhelm Meier, made a brief speech to thank all presences and to emphasize the importance of the relationship between Switzerland and Brazil. Informed, as well, that in the very night would be lightened a fire to celebrate the national day of his country. |

After his speech, he invited all to a fraternization dinner. The guests followed to the embassy’s garden, where astonishing well decorated tables were embeauting even more the beautiful place. Everybody co fraternized and enjoyed the nice dinner in that special evening. |
