| To the solemn Grand Opening, the Culture Minister of France, Mr. Philippe Etienne, representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, and the French Ambassador, Mr. Jean de Gliniasty. Both gave speeches focusing on the importance of that institution's work in favor of the dissemination of the French Language and Culture. |

| The President of Aliança Francesa, Mr. Ernesto Silva, thanked everyone for the presence and in a quick speech, talked about the history of that institution and its growth along with Brasilia citizens. |

| Dozens of guests, among them, businessmen, teachers and professors, students and politicians attended the event and attested the beauty and the comfort of the building of the school. Everyone took part on the opening cocktail making the environment cheerful and satisfying. |
