| The lecture of Mrs. Lisiane Bittencourt lasted around an hour, in which she approached aspects of general interest about of this theme, so common nowadays. It was related by Mrs. Bittencourt the groups in which were divided the sleep disturbs; how we can identify some sleep diseases and how to treat them. |

- Sleep well means to have a repairing and continuous sleep, which can vary from 6 to 8 hours every night;
- A good night of sleep is composed for 4 to 6 cycles of sleeping, where each cycle lasts around 90 minutes;
- A sleep of high quality improves the muscle and bone restorations, fortify the immunologic system and consolidate memory;
- Nowadays, 25% of people suffer from sleep disturbs;
- The sleep disturbs are associated to other psychiatric disturbs such as: anxiety, stress, depression, cardiac arrhythmias, diabetes, smoking, pulmonary emphysemas, asthma, bronchitis, fibromyalgia and hyperthyroidisms;
- The evaluation of sleeping is recommended when the person presents: excessive sleepiness during the day, hard breathing while sleeping, snoring, respiratory disorder, alterations on the cardiac rhythm, excessive movement of the limbs while sleeping or when the person has insomnia.
