| The Amigas do Brasil Group, directed by Mrs. Lucia Fuentes, from the embassy of Costa Rica, has been developing extremely generous works for the community of Distrito Federal. They get together monthly in one of the members' house to gather contributions, define assistance places among other fundamental details during this work. |

| Mrs. Jaqueline de Toro, from the embassy of Bolivia was the host in the month of September. After the collection of the contribution, adjustments of the social actions for the following month were made, since it's the month of the children in Brazil. |

| On the last but one meeting of the year, that happened on October 11th, at Mrs. Roseane Kipman's house at Asa Sul, the birthdays of three group members were also celebrated. In the following day, the Amigas promoted an event celebrating the Children's Day: a breakfast at the Meliá Hotel for the children's who have cancer. |
