| On December 2nd, 2005, concluding the project "Fundo para Eqüidade de Gênero - Brasil" (Funds to Equity of Genre - Brazil) FIG - the Embassy of Canada and the Canadian Agency to International Development, promoted the launching of the book "Reflexões sobre a Diversidade no Mundo do Trabalho" (Reflections about the Diversity in the Working Environment). The host of the event was the Ambassador of Canada in Brazil, Mr. Guillermo Rishchynski. |

| The event took place at the Residence of the Ambassdor of Canada, at Lago Sul, and had the presence of many diplomats, authorities, businessmen, and personalities of the society of Brasília. |

| The book brings reflections of representatives from dozens of well-succeeded projects exhibited during the "II Encontro de Intercâmbio de Experiências do Fundo para Igualdade de Gênero-Brasil" (II Meeting of Exchanging of Experiences of the Fund to Equality of Genre-Brazil), which happened in Brasilia, from September 14th to 17th, 2004. The main goal of the initiative is to make more identical and non-discriminatory the working relationship between men and women. |

| Those projects focused the most different acting areas and provided the development of actions in partnership with social movements, syndicates and federations of many professional categories, ONGs, feminist organizations, study and researching institutions, aiming to contend the inequalities of genre and race in the work environment. Thanks to those projects, nowadays it is possible count on indicators able to make more visible the real conditions in which the working relation are developed in Brazil, to some information to the formulation of new public politics. |

| "Reflexões sobre a Diversidade no Mundo do Trabalho" shows those experiences including many points of view of important specialists in genres and racial issues of different Brazilian universities. The book equally shows a balance of the ten years of the establishment of FIG in Brazil, as well as the results and the contacts of each entity that took part in the Program, aiming to offer exchanges of ideas between people and institutions interested in the humanization of the work environment, promoting that way, equal, plural and democratic social relations. |
