Mr. John Gates, Headmaster of the American School of Brasília.
Twenty years ago parents of students in the American School of Brasília and the teachers in that amazing institution had a vision. They visualized a space for the students in which they could improve their communicative and social skills, their cognitive process could be stimulated and they could be better prepared for the struggle of life when the time came, as more centered and equilibrated adults. The dream that started back then gained form as the EAB's Center for the Arts.
The rooms and instruments that complete the complex and the students of the school will be using in their classes.
Now, twenty years of hard work, funding, love and effort, the Board of Directors, Administration and the Development Council of EAB cordially invites you to EAB's Center of the Arts' Grand Opening, International Show & Reception on the next December 10 th at the American School.
The beautiful stage will receive many artists exhibiting their talent.
THE GUIDE had the honor of visiting the EAB's Center for the Arts and talk to the Board of Directors of the school about this wonderful accomplishment. The Center for the Arts amazes us, visitors, but only in the right amount! It seems that every little detail was well thought. Nothing is overdone. On the contrary, the architectonic concept is flawless.
