| In the past few years, the city of Brasília has awakened for good cultural programs. Not that there were not great options of concerts, plays, exhibitions from time to time and a select group of people who praised best quality arts. In fact, Brasília has been considered one of the most intellectualized cities in the country. Not to mention the contribution of the city towards Brazilian Music. Brasília has launched several successful bands nationally and internationally, such as Legião Urbana, Paralamas do Sucesso, Capital Inicial, Natiruts and artists like Oswaldo Montenegro , Cássia Eller and Zélia Duncan |

| To know of the path the Headmaster of the school, Mr. John Gates, the Board of Directors, the PTSO (Parents, Teachers, Students Organization and all in school walked until the work was done, was already touching and filled the heart with enthusiasm and the belief that we can achieve what we dream. But the evening reserved much more. In the words of Mrs. Wooley "a loving, clever, wonderful person" who left marks in those who met her, she left this world in a car accident shortly after her graduation. In the week of the inauguration, the Cançado family, in gratitude for the wonderful education their children had in EAB, generously donated "an incredible amount" to the school. In return, the school decided to name the EAB's Center for the Arts, the Silvia Cançado Center for the Arts. |

Mrs. Cecília cried next to Mrs. Wooley, she knew Silvia. Probably everyone cried that night. It was beautiful, unforgettable.
