| The Ambassador Andonios Nicolaidis delivered a short speech paying homage to the Brazilian athletes, mentioning the names of those who deserved a special recognition of the Greek Government. The Senator Paulo Octávio represented the Brazilian athletes receiving the certificates. The Senator was chosen to participate in the event due to his very important collaboration in the promotion, divulgation and involvement in the issues about the Olympic Games in Brazil. Both Senator and the Ambassador highlighted the friendly and resembling relationship among the two counties. |
