The Group of Ambassadresses (Grupo de Embaixatrizes) realized in the afternoon of March 8th, 2006 a celebrative encounter for the International Woman’s Day.
Guests from all continents were present in the event.
The event happened at the official residence of the ambassador of Paraguay. Among the guests there were ambassadors, ambassadresses and members from the society of Brasília. All them were received gladly by the ambassadress of Paraguay, Mrs. Mary Beatriz Ayala de González.

The ambassadress of Honduras and President of the Group of ambassadress, Mrs. Rosa Maria de Lozano, gave a brief speech for the group and paid tribute to the Second Lady of Brazil, Mrs. Mariza Alencar, who received a gift for the recognition of her work for the Brazilian society.

Mrs. Mariza Alencar received the gift gladly and gave a brief thanks speech. She praised the group for its social works with Brazilian poor entities.
After the ceremony, all guests were invited to taste many typical dishes from countries of international community. The ambience was full of gladness and friendship among the guests.
