| The President of ACONBRAS and Consul of Chipre, Mr. César Aguiar, made the initial speech, welcoming the guests when the dining room was open. Mr. César Aguiar also spoke about the main activities and goals of the Association, expressing, in the end, his gratitude to the collaborators and supporters of the event. After, Mr. João Luiz M. da Silva, Administrative Director of AACD (Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente) – an association for the welfare of physically handicapped children – made a short presentation about the Entity and its marvelous work in Brazil. |

| In the Meeting Room, the guests were surprised by an attractive exhibition of "Edu das Águas" paintings. He is a painter expert in sceneries that portray the Tietê river and, during the event, Edu das Águas painted an exclusive picture which was given to one of the guests. |

| When the dinner begun, the guests could taste special dishes prepared by the Hotel’s Chef, Mrs. Cacilda Corria. The very palatable and flavorous wines were offered by AZAÏT – Cultural Space of Olive-oils and Wines – which also introduced its various high-quality products. |

| The ACONBRAS, represented by his President, Mr. César Aguiar, complimented Mr. Paulo Lofreta, President of ABRASE – Brazilian Action of Support to the Services Sector – for his highlighted work on the Association. Another honored presence was Mrs. Yolanda Agrícola, Mr. Wilheml Agrícola’s widow. Mr. Agrícola was ex-Consul of Gambia and a person who will never be forgot for his importance to ACONBRAS. |

| After all, Mr. César Aguiar announced many prizes, as travels to New York, Buenos Aires, and lodgings in Intercontinental Hotel in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, that were raffled among the guests. There were many lucky ones, and the impression was that in each table could be found winners, due to the happiness and joy caused by them. |
