The embassy of Japan held on August 29th of 2007 a dinner to pay homage to the Ministers Hidekazu Yamagughi and Tatsuo Arai, who has just arrived from Japan and now will be also representing the embassy to both the Diplomatic Corps in Brasilia and to Brazilian government.

Dozens of guests were at the event.

The event took place at the social halls of Japan’s embassy and counted on the presence of ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of Brazilian government, members of Japanese community and personalities of Brasilia’s society.

In a mood of much fraternization, the guests tasted a splendid diner with typical Japanese dishes, prepared by the embassy’s chef.

The Minister Hidekazu Yamagughi said good-bye to the many friends that he made during his stay in Brazil. And, to the new Minister in Brasilia, Mr. Tatsuo Arai, were transmitted the greetings for the ambassadors and diplomats in Brasilia.

The Japanese Ministers and their wives received the compliments of all the guests.
