| The American Women’s Club International, AWCI, continues to arrange activities, initiatives and events that will gather funds for people in need and institutions of social assistance, seeking to provide those citizens in Brasília in special conditions a better quality of life. Tirelessly working on this goal, these amazing ladies got together at the residence of the Ambassadress of Denmark, Mr. Pia Konigsfeldt, to propose, discuss and volunteer for the coming events and activities of the Club. |

| The event counted on the presence of many distinguished ladies not only from the American community of the Diplomatic Sector, but Brazilian ladies willing to cooperate. They gathered at the porch of Mrs. Konigsfeldt’s residence and checked the products and artifacts exhibited by local producers and artisans and had a great time shopping very peculiar items, stimulating the artistic production in the region and paving ways to gather even greater amounts of funds for their causes. |

| After having breakfast and assigning for the various activities of the Club programmed for the next months, such as language and handicraft workshops, tennis, educational programs, cooking and more, the ladies of AWCI sat and discussed the next moves of the Club, presided by Mrs. Shelly Wooley, Head of the CLO Office of the U.S. Embassy and President of AWCI. |
